Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis
I suffer from Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, which is an autoimmune disease in which the body’s own immune cells attack and destroy the thyroid gland. A synthetic thyroid hormone must be taken forever thereafter. One of many side effects is a slowed metabolism and weight gain. I started gaining about 5 pounds a year and reached an all-time high about a year ago.
Margo started doing the Angel Recovery Massages on me early in 2012, and amazingly I lost 20 pounds in just two weeks! Now there were other things going on in my life that may have contributed to that significant a loss in such a short time, but my appetite has definitely decreased, I eat smaller portions, and I have lost another 10 pounds.
